And for the Mississippi University for Women women's soccer team, its unbeaten streak was halted at four after suffering its first loss of 2022, 3-0, at Huntingdon College. The setback dropped the Owls to 3-1-1, while the Hawks improved to 1-2-1.
As a team, HC out-shot MUW by a 20-7 margin on its home pitch. The Hawks put 13 shots on frame, compared to two by the Owls.

Olivia Clark posting a season-best 10 saves in the match. The three goals are also the most Clark has surrendered in a match in her young MUW career.
Returning USCAA All-American
Shelby Harrington topped the team with two shot attempts, one on goal.
Lindsey Moyle had the other Owls' shot-on-goal attempt.
Huntingdon scored all of its goals in the first half, tallying in the 2nd, 33rd and 35th minutes. In the second stanza, The W defense locked it down and kept the Hawks' offense caged.
"Not the result we hoped for tonight," Owls Head Coach
Catie Lyles said. "But we had some positives!. We will continue to work hard this next week to prepare for LaGrange."
MUW will next be in action on Tuesday (Sept. 20) at LaGrange College.
