Box Score GREENVILLE, Ill. – The W women's soccer – currently holding the sixth, and final, slot for the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) tournament – missed a chance to possibly ascend in the standings, after suffering a 5-0 loss to second-place occupant Greenville University. The Owls fell to 3-9-2 (2-3 SLIAC), while the Panthers upped their record to 6-7-2 overall (4-0-1 SLIAC).

GU led at the half, 3-0, before adding a pair of goals in the second stanza. The two teams were deadlocked in a scoreless match-up until the Panthers broke through in the 24th minute.

MUW found itself outshot by a 13-2 count. Kimi Norway and Haven Tuggle each had a shot try for the Owls, neither was on goal.

Conversely, GU put nine of its tries on frame. The W goalkeeper Alex Moon registered four saves.

The W will next be in action next Friday (Oct. 25 12 p.m.) for a bout at home versus SLIAC-leader Webster University at the Roger Short Soccer Complex.
