BELLEVILLE, Ill. – The W senior HANNAH OWENS has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Player of the Week for women's cross country, it has been announced. The award covers the period of September 14-20, 2026.

At the Rhodes College Invitational last Saturday, Owens clocked the second-fastest 5-kilometer time of the season in the SLIAC. Owens covered the Shelby Farms course in a time of 22:04.50 minutes. That put Owens in 30th place in the 87-runner field.

It also marked the 21st-consecutive meet that Owens has been MUW's top finisher in a race. That represents every competition in her 3-plus-year career as an Owl.
