Gilliand Grabs Three Saves in 1-0 Loss at Sewanee

SEWANEE, Tenn. – The Owls women's soccer team falls to 1-10 on the season after a 1-0 loss to the Sewanee Tigers on Tuesday, Oct. 2. The W played great defense but was unable to get the offense going in the loss to Sewanee.

In the goal for the Owls, Sarah Gilliland played the entire 90 minutes for three saves and one goal allowed.

Britain Welzien led The W offense with two shots on goal while Caroline Grafe was also credited with two Owls shots.

The Owls will return to action on Sunday, Oct. 7 when they take on LaGrange College. The men's game is set for noon and the women's game will begin immediately following.

Come out and support the Owls as the play in their last home game of the season.
